  • R&D facility is a backbone of aSai’s business activities. It is state of the art facility set-up at Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai with a mission ‘Excellence through Innovation’
  • The manufacturing site currently under development is located strategically at Patalganga Industrial Area, Near Navi Mumbai. Strategically it is near to JNPT port and close to planned international airport in Navi Mumbai. It will be a state of the art Multipurpose facility comprising of various top end technology platforms to cater to the process technology innovations, scale-up/pilot plants and dedicated trains for commercial production of Intermediates and APIs.
  • Another manufacturing site which is in strategic partnership with aSai is located in Bidar, Karnataka. It is a multipurpose & GMP manufacturing facility.

Manufacturing Sites

R&D Centre, MIDC Taloja, Navi Mumbai :

Upto 5 kg Manufacturing can be done at R&D site. Key instalments includes: Synthesis lab, kg lab, well equipped ADL (incl. Instruments lab and wet lab) and documentation room. The staff is well experienced & highly qualified (PhDs, MScs & Engineers). R&D Centre also has subscription of American Chemical Society’s SciFinder.

Manufacturing Site in Karnataka :

For manufacturing quantities above 5 kg. It’s a multipurpose GMP and auditable facility in strategic partnership with aSai, supervised extensively by aSai’s scale-up, QA/QC and manufacturing experts. Key features include : 18 reactors (GLR and SS)  (upto 6kL) production block, cryo facility, clean rooms, hydrogenator, 8000 sq. ft ware house, 100000 L Solvent storage capacity, RO, MEE, Fire hydrant safety systems,etc.

Upcoming Manufacturing Facility at MIDC Patalganga, near Navi Mumbai:

This facility would be a multipurpose cGMP facility complying to ICH Q7 guidelines for manufacturing of Intermediates & APIs backed by strong QA/QC department. The facility would be completely ready for operation by mid of 2017.
